My name is Brenda Fluegel. Born and raised in Northern California, I have lived in Central Texas for more than 30 years. As a child, my mother had a collection of Crackle Glass in the window of our dining room. The light coming through the filter of the glass was fascinating to me. Years later, in 2010, after life threw me challenging experiences, loss, and a chronic health condition, I began my journey with kiln-formed glass. I was determined to remain fruitful and productive, despite the challenges. Ephraim is the Hebrew word for fruitful in affliction. Thus, Ephraim Glass Studio evolved out of this determination. I am glad you are visiting here and hope you enjoy the fruit of the passion I have for kiln-formed glass.
